Top 5 Kvaskeeper Bone-head trades. List by Mark and Scott :D

5. Year 1: The Blunerful Youth
The first year of the pool youth was overvalued by everyone. In the inaugural draft we saw a lot of younger players picked highly, ahead of many superstars. Continuing with that mentality, Jay flipped Jarome Iginla and a drop to Scott for a pre-mature Victor Hedman and a drop. Iggy was off to a slow start but would wind up posting 89 points, securing Scott the victory in year one.

4. Fat Packie for Petro
Mark dishes out a huge package of Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Dustin Byfuglien to Scott for Alex Pietrangelo and a couple moving parts. Datz and Zettz were just acquired a month earlier in the deal that sent Seguin to Scott.

3. Go Leafs Go! Matthew cashes out for JVR
Matthew has always been on a Leafs kick, and one day he paid the price. Trading his most valuable player to Jay for JVR. Niklas Backstrom, the player in question is a point behind John Tavares for the league lead in scoring at 71 points as this article is written. JVR? Stuck at 48 points.

2. Kane/St.Louis for Huberdeau... D'OH!
In a series of bad trades in back to back years, Stefan "Garth Snow" Markus traded Patrick Kane for Marty St.Louis, then flipped Marty for a pick at the draft to secure Jonathan Huberdeau. St.Louis would go onto win the scoring title that very season. Hubie-doo? He's out of the pool, folks.

1.  The Year of the Nazem Kadri Sweepstakes
At a wild, wild Christmas re-draft Stefan traded Tyler Seguin to Mark for the first overall pick, which he used to secure.... Nazem Kadri!

Future Boners?

Neal for Giroux?
Thanksgiving 3rd for Tavares?
Gaudreau for Stamkos?
Tavares for a pick to re-draft Huberdeau?

Time will tell...
